What To Expect

Although it is not all about losing weight, nearly everyone who follows these guidelines does lose weight. But also expect other signs of progress, like greater energy levels, the need for less sleep, better concentration, improved skin and more. You will come out of this with an education – that I can assure you. Not just about nutrition and better health in general, but also about the knowledge of your own body and habits. You’ll discover what your body really likes and dislikes (and I don’t necessarily mean what tastes good and what doesn’t, more what works for your body and makes you feel great). You’ll gain an appreciation of just how much your body has craved sugar and how much better you feel without so much of it in your diet.

Everyone Is Different

Everyone seems to react differently when detoxing. I therefore encourage you to use the Facebook Group whenever you have a question (no matter how trivial or otherwise you might think it is). Good reactions or challenges – whatever is happening please feel free to share your experience. After all – we’re all in it together (I detox as well, usually in Spring and in February).

The Key To A Successful Detox

The key to having a successful detox is to be organised, so spend plenty of time going through all the information and get clear on the plan you’ll follow and what you are going to be eating during the detox. Write up your shopping list and have enough of all the ingredients handy to make the healthy foods required.

Detox Support

The important thing here is that you are effectively supported throughout your detox and that’s what I’m here for. I’ll be keeping a watchful eye on the Detox Group Facebook Page and will be posting answers to questions along with other information. For technical support or if something isn’t working for you please email:

While your fellow detoxers and I are here to support you, also ask for the support of those around you. For many of you, this will be a personal journey, but make sure you ask and receive the support of your partners, children, family and friends. I hope you’ll be inspiring them to clean up their diet along with you.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]
